Jack Lalanne Power Juicer

by admin on August 25th, 2010

The Power Juicer by Jack Lalanne is an excellent tool for anyone trying to lead a healthier lifestyle or lose weight. At just the push of a button, these juicers turn a whole piece of fruit into vitamin-packed, completely natural, homemade juice! Following is a brief overview of the Power Juicer models currently on the market and the features of each.

Power Juicer Classic

The Classic model was the first Power Juicer put on the market and it offers the basic features which all of the other models build off and improve upon. It retails for around $100. It is extremely quiet, especially in comparison to noisy blenders and many other low priced juicers on the market. The blade is made of surgical steel so it does not rust and easily reduces whole fruits and vegetables to juice quickly. The 3,600 rpm motor delivers enough power to back up that action and comes with a lifetime warranty!
The juicer is dishwasher safe and the pulp collector detaches for easy clean up. This is one of the most powerful juicers currently selling anywhere on the market.

Power Juicer Express

This is basically a more compact version of the Classic model, but with the addition of a non-drip spout. Machine and feature wise it is a smaller version of the Classic. It retails for around $80.

Power Juicer Deluxe

With the addition of the non-drip spout, this is a stainless steel version of the Classic model. It is the same size and comes with all the same features as the Classic model. It retails for around $120.

Power Juicer Pro

The Pro model comes with all the features of the Deluxe plus a stainless steel mesh filter that is more durable than the one in the lower priced models. It comes with a stainless steel finish just like the Deluxe model and has all of the same features. It retails for around $150.

Power Juicer Elite

This is the top-of-the-line model that comes with every feature currently available from Jack Lalanne. It is packed with all of the same features as the Pro version but is also equipped with soy technology that enhances the variety of juices that can be created with the machine. This model is a bit larger than the others, but is still rather compact when compared to some competitive juicers on the market. It’s current retail price is around $150.

The basic features and the motor on all of these models are exactly the same, so no one model is really superior in functioning to the others. The Elite does come at some extra expense, but it is also equipped with the soy technology which some consumers demand today.

For those looking to purchase a high quality, powerful juicer on a budget, the Classic model should be satisfactory. The Deluxe version is great for those who want the stainless steel finish for appearances sake, but otherwise is not different enough from the Classic model to justify the increase in price.

The Pro and Elite sell for the same retail price, so for most people it is worth the effort to track down the Elite since it comes with the added benefit of soy technology. Lower prices can often be found through sales with online retailers if you look around.
