Lalanne Juicer

by admin on August 25th, 2010

The Jack Lalanne juicer has been advertised all over the TV and it is getting a growing amount of attention from consumers who are looking to enhance their life and improve their overall health. There are five different models currently on the market, with retail prices falling between $80 and $150.
At the lower end of that price range you have the space saver model and the original Classic model. The Classic features the very basic features which are all offered on the higher priced models as well. These basic features include:

  • Surgical stainless steel blade
  • 3,600 RMP motor
  • Oversized chute
  • Detachable pulp collector
  • Additional safety features

What makes all of the Lalanne juicers stand out is the small amount of noise that they make when in operation. Even the lower priced Classic model is very smooth and quiet, delivering juice without requiring ear plugs. Special technology and the power of the motor also ensure that even whole fruits and vegetables can be reduced to juice easily.

The Express model is the space saver design which comes with all the exact same features as the Classic model but in a frame that is just a bit smaller in size. The spout is also a non-drip design which is not featured on the Classic model.
Sitting in the middle of the price range is the Deluxe model. It comes with all of the Classic features plus the non-drip spout featured on the Express model, but is full sized and comes in a stainless steel finish. Selling for around $20 more than the Classic model, those who purchase this model usually do so for the stainless steel look.

At the upper end of the price range are the Pro and Elite models. Both models come with all of the Classic features and the non-drip spout, but they each come with some special features that make them unique. The Pro model comes in stainless steel and has a higher quality stainless steel mesh filter. The Elite model is a bit larger in size, comes in steel, and is enhanced with special soy technology.

Those who pay the extra money for the Elite model often want the soy technology that increases the variety of juices and other things that can be made with the machine.

The Pro model is often purchased under the assumption that the motor may be stronger or the features are drastically improved over the Classic mode. This isn’t really true since all of the basic features are the same on every model. The only difference from one model to another is the added features that come with the higher priced models. They can be seen more like upgrades that build off of the same powerful model.

What consumers like most about the Lalanne juicer is the power of the motor and the oversized chute. These features speed up the juice making process because you don’t have to chop up the fruits and vegetables before putting them in the machine. You simply place whole fruits and vegetables in the chute and the surgical quality steel blade and highly durable design are able to completely reduce them to juice.
The quite operation that makes very little sound is also quite impressive, especially for the lower priced Classic and Express models.
